Getting started with the API

Create codes and links and read stats from your own apps.

The REST API is part of the Business plan. It can create, update and delete codes, links and barcodes, and read their statistics.

1. Open API keys in the dashboard and create a key. Copy it straight away: it's shown only once.
2. Send it with every request in the header Authorization: Bearer followed by your key.
3. Read the API documentation for every endpoint and example requests.

A key acts as an editor of the workspace it was created in. Keep keys secret like a password, and delete any key you no longer use.
