Does a text QR code need internet?

No. The text is inside the code, so the phone shows it without connecting.

How much text fits?

Up to about 1,500 characters, but long text makes a dense code. If you need more, link to a web page instead.

Is my data private?

Static codes are made in your browser, so your WiFi passwords and contact details never reach us. For dynamic codes we store the destination link and anonymous scan counts. For AI art, your description and link are sent to our AI provider to create the image.
