QR codes painted into a picture
Describe a scene, and an image model paints your link into it: a harbour at sunset, a bowl of ramen, a stained-glass window. Every image is test-scanned before you use it.

From a sentence to a code people want to scan
Enter your link
Paste the web address, or create a dynamic code first so you can change where it goes after printing.
Describe the picture
Write what you want to see, or pick one of 24 styles: oil painting, origami, ink wash, synthwave and more.
Check and download
Generation takes 10 to 40 seconds. We read the result with a QR decoder and tell you if it scans before you download it.
What makes AI art scan well
Name a subject and a style
“A cozy bakery counter, warm light, watercolor” works better than one word. The model needs a scene to hide the pattern in.
Pick busy, textured scenes
Forests, cities, mosaics and food have lots of detail for the modules to blend into. Plain skies and flat colors scan worse.
Use the balance slider
Slide left for more art, right for easier scanning. Start in the middle, and move right if the scan check fails.
Keep links short
Short links make fewer, bigger modules, which blend in better. Dynamic codes are already short.
Frames still work
Add a frame with “Scan me” around the image so people know it's a code, not just a picture.
Test on real phones
Print a test copy at the final size and scan it with two or three phones in the light where it will hang.
Codes people stop to look at
A standard code says “scan me” to people who already want to. An AI code gets noticed by people who weren't looking: on a poster, a menu cover, a gig flyer or a gallery wall.
Because the image is made from your link, each one is unique. Make it a dynamic code and you can change the destination later, and see how many people scanned it.
- Posters, flyers and event tickets
- Menu covers and table tents
- Packaging and product inserts
- Business cards and wedding invitations

Questions people ask
AI QR art
Do AI QR codes really scan?
Usually, yes. The model is guided by your code's pattern, and we read every result with a decoder. If it doesn't scan, we tell you, and you can try again with the balance moved towards scanning.
Can I use an AI code with a dynamic link?
Yes. Create the dynamic code first, then switch to the AI art tab. The image encodes your short link, so you can change the destination after printing.
Which link types work?
AI art works with web links, including dynamic codes and short links. WiFi, contact cards and other types need a standard design.
Who owns the images?
You can use the images you generate, including commercially. Don't describe other people's trademarks or artwork. See our license page for details.
What is sent to the AI provider?
Your description and the link to encode are sent to Replicate, which runs the model and returns the image. We don't keep the image.
Why does it take up to 40 seconds?
The image is painted from scratch for your link each time. Most finish in about 15 seconds.
