If a QR code or short link made with ScanMosaic leads to a scam, malware or anything else our acceptable use policy forbids, tell us here. We review every report and disable codes that break the rules.
What you can report
- Short links and QR codes that start with our address, like scanmosaic.com/r/…
- Hosted pages: menus, PDFs, galleries, forms and business cards at scanmosaic.com/p/…
- Files at scanmosaic.com/f/…
- Codes and links on a customer's own domain that show “Made with ScanMosaic”
Codes that don't go through us (for example a code that opens a website directly) can't be disabled by us. Report those to the website's host, or to Google Safe Browsing at safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish.
What happens next
- We check the address and what it leads to.
- If it breaks our rules, we disable it. People who scan it see a notice instead.
- We may tell the owner, and close accounts for serious or repeated abuse.
If you're in danger, contact the police first. For legal notices, write to ScanMosaic, United Kingdom, or email [email protected]. See also our acceptable use policy and terms.
