License and ownership
Your codes are yours
The QR codes, barcodes and files you make with ScanMosaic belong to you. Use them anywhere, including on products, packaging, signs and ads, on any plan, with no attribution and no watermark. Static codes keep working forever, even if you stop using ScanMosaic.
What a code points to is your responsibility: make sure you have the rights to the content, logos and pictures you use.
Dynamic codes and short links
A dynamic code or short link contains an address on our domain (or your own custom domain) that we redirect. The design is yours; the redirect works under our terms while your plan is active. With a custom domain, the links stay under your control if you ever leave.
Templates
The designs in our template gallery and the frames and shapes in the generator are free to use for codes you make, commercially too. You may not resell or redistribute them as templates, or present them as your own template collection.
AI images
You may use the AI QR art you generate, including commercially, subject to the image model provider's terms. Don't describe other people's trademarks, characters or artworks, or real people without their permission. AI images may not be unique and can't always be protected by copyright.
Fonts
Captions on frames use Bricolage Grotesque, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono, DM Serif Display and Pacifico. All are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which allows them to be embedded in the files you download and used commercially.
The QR Code trademark
“QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. ScanMosaic isn't affiliated with or endorsed by DENSO WAVE.
Our brand and software
The ScanMosaic name, logo, website and software belong to ScanMosaic. Using the service doesn't give you any rights to them beyond these terms.
