Short links
Is the URL shortener free?
Yes. The free plan includes 3 short links with click stats and a QR code each. Pro gives you 500 links, custom endings, smart routing, expiry dates and passwords.
Do short links expire?
No, unless you set an expiry date. Links on a paid plan keep working while the plan is active and for 14 days after; the free plan's links keep working for good.
Can I change where a link goes?
Yes. Edit the destination in your dashboard any time. The short link and its QR code stay the same, so nothing needs reprinting.
How does smart routing decide?
Rules are checked from the top. The first rule whose conditions all match sends the visitor to its page; if none match, the visitor goes to your default destination. The simulator shows which rule a visitor would get, and why.
What do you record for each click?
The time, country, device type, operating system, browser, language and which routing rule was used. We don't store IP addresses or set cookies, and link-preview bots aren't counted.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on the Business plan you can connect up to 5 of your own domains for short links.
